Strengthening agricultural innovation in Vietnam

Last Friday, CSIRO and the Institute of Strategy and Policy for Agriculture and Environment – ISPAE jointly hosted a workshop to bring together policy makers, experts and innovators to discuss solutions for a more sustainable and inclusive agriculture sector for Vietnam.

Supported by the Aus4Innovation program, the workshop enabled participants to share international best practices and local experience to explore ways to tackle challenges in Vietnam’s agricultural innovation system and help to better respond to changing needs.

With Vietnam’s Resolution 57 setting bold goals for science, technology, and innovation in agriculture, Australia is proud to be a steadfast partner to Vietnam in laying the groundwork for policies and actions that will empower farmers, protect the environment, and drive rural prosperity!
