Pioneering Responsible AI together

August 28th, 2024

Last week at the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day (AI4VN), Vietnam’s leading AI forum, our Chargé d’Affaires proudly showcased the fruitful collaboration between Australia and Vietnam through the Aus4Innovation program. Partnering with Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, we have made significant strides in enhancing the development of AI in Vietnam – from supporting the dissemination of the National AI Strategy to funding innovative AI solutions and nurturing AI start-ups.

As we forge ahead, our commitment evolves towards fostering responsible AI. We are excited to support Vietnam in creating their first-ever responsible AI framework, marking a new chapter in our partnership. This responsible AI initiative underscores our dedication to not only technological advancement but also to ensuring these advancements are ethical and beneficial for all.

Australia Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires Renée Deschamps re-affirmed Australia’s commitment to support Vietnam’s AI ambitions, through the Aus4Innovation program and beyond.
