Modern technology within reach for farmers in Thanh Hoa
Exciting news from Thanh Hoa province. Griffith University and Hanoi University of Science & Technology are developing a state-of-the-art digital twin platform, to support the transformation of agricultural practices though the use of cutting-edge technologies. This project is funded by the Aus4Innovation program.
By adopting the platform, farmers can now monitor and manage their practices more precisely, from optimising planting schedules to improving fertiliser use, enabling them to improve their overall operations. In the recent ‘Light of Knowledge’ segment on VTV 1, we can see how excited they were when the equipment was deployed in the field.
This innovative solution also empowers the local government in Thanh Hoa with real-time data to better measure carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emission. This supports informed decision-making for carbon farming and promotes sustainable agricultural practices.
