Did you know globally, 75 per cent of plastic produced becomes waste?
That’s why entrepreneurs, industry and policymakers gathered at the Plastics Innovation Hub Vietnam Demo Day to celebrate the work of global innovators who are working hard on solutions to end plastic pollution in Vietnam.
Congratulations to all the graduating teams who have completed the Accelerator, an entrepreneurial program as part of the Indo-Pacific Plastics Innovation Network (IPPIN) run in Vietnam by CSIRO supported by Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in partnership with Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam’s Administration of Seas and Islands, Vietnam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Viet Nam National Plastic Action Partnership UNDP Vietnam.
The event was opened by Ms Sarah Hooper, Australian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr Kim Wimbush, CSIRO Counsellor of Vietnam, Aus4Innovation Program Director and Ms Dang Nguyet Anh, Manager of the National Plastic Action Partnership UNDP Vietnam
