Aus4Innovation grants funding to four outstanding tech projects
#Aus4Innovation Partnership Grants has awarded a total of 1.37 million AUD in funding to four digital economy initiatives. These projects, which are co-led by teams from Australia and Vietnam, have the potential to revolutionise their fields by applying the most advanced digital approaches developed in Australia.
The selected projects are:
• Remote situational tele-mentorship using augmented reality to build capacity of healthcare staff in rural and remote areas;
• Improvement of search and rescue operation by using aerial vehicles, artificial intelligence (AI) and remote sensing;
• Sugarcane production employing drones and artificial intelligence of things (AIOT) to monitor crop health; and
• Environment management in Tram Chim National Park applying AI, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) and environmental engineering.
