80 years of Independence – Liberty – Happiness journey: Innovative healthcare service through Australia – Vietnam Innovation partnerships

Visitors to the National Achievement Exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Liberty – Happiness Journey” can explore a breakthrough healthcare service for remote areas in Vietnam, utilising augmented reality (AR).

Thanks to this service, doctors at remote hospitals can be connected with top specialists at leading hospitals, allowing them to receive professional advice accurately and promptly, reducing unnecessary referrals and enhancing emergency care.

This initiative is co-developed by Bach Mai Hospital and the University of Tasmania under our Aus4Innovation Program, which is proudly supported by the Australian Government, in a strategic partnership with Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology.
