Setting up new partnership in agri-innovation
During his visit to Australia, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue witnessed the signing of a letter of intent between Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) and CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency. This is the beginning of future opportunities for joint research and innovation activities to address a variety of current and emerging agriculture and food challenges, such as food security, resilient farming or digital transformation.
VNUA is the number one institute in Vietnam when it comes to agricultural and food research and training. Its relationship with CSIRO first started under our #Aus4Innovation program. With the ambition to become Vietnam’s leading university in agri-innnovation, the new official cooperation with CSIRO can help VNUA build its innovation capability as well as connect it to the international innovation network.
