Australia revitalises innovation support for Vietnam
Australia belongs to a group of donors who are contributing to an enhanced innovation ecosystem in Vietnam. This group consists of other Embassies andmultilateral donors including the World Bank and UNDP.
After a long pause due to COVID-19, Australia took the initiative to reconvene the group in a workshop hosted by #Aus4Innovation yesterday. The donors discussed innovation progress in Vietnam, shared experiences in supporting innovation ecosystems internationally, and introduced their plans for Vietnam in the coming time to amplify efforts or reduce overlap.

Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, has recently published a study that compiled lessons for designing and implementing innovation support programs. The study was presented to the group by Dr Andy Hall, senior research scientist from CSIRO
