Aus4Innovation helps develop the Vietnamese science and technology market
Ambassador Goledzinowski, together with the expert team from CSIRO, shared insights from Australia about its 30-year journey of developing a market for science and technology at a workshop for Vietnamese policy makers, research institutes and universities, businesses and experts.
The workshop, organised following Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s National Conference on Science and Technology market development, gave participants the chance to discuss science commercialisation challenges and opportunities in Vietnam and to identify solutions that could help bring research results and technology to market.
It was co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and the Australian Embassy with support from the Aus4Innovation programme.
Beyond the workshop, Australia and MoST are discussing building global networks between experts, donors and science and technology communities to support Vietnam’s Science and Technology market development.

The workshop was co-chaired by the Ambassador and Mr Huynh Thanh Dat Minister of Science and Technology (MoST)

Experts from Australia: Assoc. Prof. Donald Scott Kemmis, and Prof. Andrew Hall, CSIRO joined the panel discussion.
