Towards a sustainable use of the sea of the Chilean Patagonia: Integrated information systems for maritime space management

With a high level of attendance, the Seminar “Towards a sustainable use of the sea of the Chilean Patagonia: Integrated information systems for maritime space management” was held the 3rd of May at Hotel Cumbres, with attendees from diverse sectors of the aquaculture ecosystem. An introduction from our Executive Director, Dr. Orlando Jimenez, and the Research Leader for CSIRO Oceans & Atmosphere, Dr. Andy Steven, gave way to the presentations of the speakers.

The objective was to open the discussion regarding innovation in aquaculture, its projection in Chile, and specially, in the seas of the Chilean Patagonia, based on integrated information systems for maritime space management.
