The ‘Anchor’ survey was undertaken from August to September 2018. The ‘Anchor’ survey is a detailed survey, carried out at the beginning of the process. It asked questions about a range of issues related to life in and around Newcastle, and about the relationship with Port Waratah. Data from the surveys are analysed by CSIRO and provided back to the community and to Port Waratah in a format that is accessible and useful. The results of the ‘Anchor’ survey feed into the ongoing bi-annual ‘Pulse’ surveys. The first Pulse survey was conducted In April 2019. 151 community members participated.
You have told us a lot about what it is like to live and work in and around Newcastle, and what is important in your relationship with Port Waratah.
