Yacob Beletse: Senior Research Scientist

Dr Yacob Beletse is a Senior Research Scientist with expertise in biophysical modelling and data analysis. He is also leads the Measuring and Catalysing Impact team with CSIRO Agriculture and Food. He is based in Canberra, Australia.

Yacob has extensive experience in multi-disciplinary agricultural research. His interests lie in applying the knowledge of data science and farming system modelling to understand the complexities of food and farming systems, and solve real-world problems. Yacob uses data analytics to derive valuable insights and support decision-making.

Yacob is currently focused on building expertise in modelling the impact of climate change on food systems in the Pacific.
