World Soil Day is held annually on 5 December to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and advocate for sustainable soil management.

2025 Armidale, NSW | Soil Judging Competition

Soil Judging Competitions are a great opportunity for students and early-career professionals to develop practical field skills, deepen their understanding of soil science, and build valuable networks within the soil science community. Registrations are limited to 200 tickets and will close 6 October.

National Soil Monitoring Program

The NSMP will establish Australia's first national and consistent soil monitoring data project to support the delivery of the Climate-Smart Agriculture program.
