Short Bio

I am a Research Scientist at Data61 Networks Research Group. My research interests are in Mobile photoSecurity & Privacy and applied Machine Learning and Data Mining to solve networking problems.

I received my PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia in 2015. Before moving into research, I worked nearly six years as a Telecommunications Engineer for Dialog Axiata, Sri Lanka and Alcatel-Lucent, Thailand in Intelligent Networks Planning & Operations. I received my BSc (Hons) degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Telecommunications from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2005 and 2010 respectively.

Currently, I am also a conjoint lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at University New South Wales.
