Ming Ding invited to chair the workshop on 5G HetSNets in IEEE Globecom 2016

Ming Ding was invited to chair the workshop on 5G heterogeneous and small cell networks (HetSNets) in IEEE Globecom 2016. This workshop on 5G heterogeneous and small cell networks is a new edition of a successful series of workshops, i.e., IEEE Globecom 2012/2013/2014/2015 International Workshops on Heterogeneous and Small Cell Networks. It will bring together top academic and industrial engineers and researchers to discuss technical challenges and recent results related to the latest developments in 5G. The workshop will be composed of a number of short lightning talks to share the views of chip makers, vendors, operators and academics as well as several panels to allow the interaction with the audience. Topics of interest that will be cover mainly include but are not restricted to, ultra-dense networks, massive MIMO, millimetre Wave, unlicensed band technologies and co-existence, internet of things and new network devices as well as the for new network architectures and standards to accommodate all these technologies. Ming Ding will deliver a lightning speech during the workshop on behalf of Data61.
