Second international xCLent CL workshop

Held at CSIRO Mineral Resources, Microbeam Laboratories – Clayton, Victoria.

This workshop will be useful for current and future xCLent CL system users.  Cathodoluminescence generation, collection and quantification will all be covered.  Extensive demonstrations of xCLent software operation and techniques will be shown.

Demonstration on xCLent spectrometers of aperture changing and fibre alignment on the JEOL EPMA xCLent optics. EPMA operation to collect a time series of CL spectra to determine optimum beam power for data collection.

Tuesday 17th February 2026 (Optional)

xClent users are welcome to come into the CSIRO Microbeam Laboratories for discussions and demonstrations throughout the day.  This is aimed at extending existing knowledge of xCLent and answering specific questions and requests for new features.  It will include a “How to session”.
