Debris surveys for UNEP

October 16th, 2019

Over the last couple of months the team have conducted coastal debris surveys in Kenya and Seychelles in a project for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This involved coastal, river and inland surveys to determine the debris load in the surveyed areas.

Part of the project involved training some wonderful local people to help us conduct the surveys. Spending time with others who are as passionate about our natural world is definitely one of the high lights of our work!

You would not believe how many photo attempts it took to get all six of our Kenya team to jump at the same time!
