The Marine Debris held monitoring surveys in South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania. These surveys will form part of a national baseline of litter in the Australian environment that will enable to measure changes in litter density over time in addition to help develop an understanding of the type of litter in the various Australian environments (inland, coastal and river). More surveys will be undertaken across 2023!!!
