CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere
Middy is a mechatronic engineer of Oceans and Atmosphere in CSIRO. Started in 2008, he involved in many projects building bio-medical devices such as blood collection monitor, automatic oxygen blender for infants, prosthetic arm, goggles for eye inspection in collaboration with organisations and universities in Australia, Thailand, Sweden and Royal Hobart Hospital. Since 2017, Middy has joined CSIRO, continues his interest in linking biological research and engineering. He is responsible for design and manufacturing marine instruments, including telecommucication and control of autonomous water samplers, hydrophones for real-time detection of illegal fishing.
