What we do

The state of world fisheries

Globally, fisheries support the livelihoods of eight per cent of the world’s population. However, there are serious concerns for the state of world fisheries, with more than 80 per cent of global fisheries either at full capacity or overexploited.

Monitoring and Surveillance

The Indonesian Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization are developing a collaborative project to improve the use of fisheries monitoring data.
