Capturing our progress from above

November 1st, 2024

As part of the In-Situ Laboratory Initiative, our team has been using drone technology to capture regular footage of our research site, both during passive monitoring and active well-drilling periods. This aerial perspective allows us to track and share progress on-site and visually communicate key developments with the community and stakeholders.

Our latest footage, captured in late October, features the harvest season underway by local landowners. This beautiful seasonal backdrop highlights both the In-Situ Laboratory’s impressive setting and its minimal impact on the landscape. By sharing these visuals, we aim to give our community a window into the project’s operations and demonstrate our commitment to preserving the natural beauty surrounding our work.

We would like to acknowledge the amazing drone footage from Mick at Gimbal View Drone Services, whose skilfully captures our aerial photos and videos, allowing us to document key moments on-site and communicate our progress with clarity and impact. From the sweeping landscape shots that frame our work to the detailed operational footage, their work consistently exceeds expectations, giving our team and community a unique view of the project’s journey. We’re grateful for their commitment to quality and look forward to many more stunning visuals together!
