Johne’s Disease (JD)

We’re applying our AI-enabled biomarker technology to detect JD earlier. This chronic, and ultimately fatal, infection is a textbook example of a disease in dire need of new diagnostic tests. Earlier detection will improve animal welfare, strengthen biosecurity, reduce costs for producers, and lessen environmental impact.

MicroRNAs

MicroRNAs, or miRNAs, are small (18-22nt), award-winning, non-coding RNAs that regulate gene expression for cellular development and function. MicroRNAs can be used as accurate biomarkers of infectious diseases and the Host Response Team are leveraging them to develop novel diagnostic assays.
