CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship – Livestock Host-Microbiome Interaction Applications Close 19 September

This exciting position will be based within CSIRO Health and Biosecurity team and is focused on understanding the host-microbiome interaction and its impact on immune function and health in livestock. The CERC Fellow will undertake research involving the generation and integration of multi-level systems information including phenomics, genomics, transcriptomics, and microbiomes particularly in ruminants, but with the possibility to expand to other production species. The CERC Fellow will focus on multi-omics analysis of the host, including transcriptomics, epigenetics, and genomics and work closely with other team members to build an understanding of the dynamic interaction between the host and it’s microbiome.
