Size and shape analyses of cutting fragments

Haver CPA 4 conveyor system uses digital image processing techniques, the system conducts a photo-optical analysis on every cutting fragment larger than 0.096mm. The output of Haver CPA is the shadow projection of every scanned fragment, which is then used to measure its width, length, perimeter and area of the fragment.

This equipment is currently used to study shape and size of the cutting fragments generated during cutting experiment.
