Alison Laing: Senior Experimental Scientist
Alison is a Climatologist and Cropping Systems Modeller with CSIRO Agriculture and Food in Australia. She has extensive international experience working with smallholder farmers in developing countries across South and Southeast Asia examining options to sustainably improve cropping system performance.
Currently Alison is working on projects in north eastern India and northern Bangladesh, in particular to identify dry season cropping options which are effective in the long term to maintain or improve productivity while improving water use efficiency and reducing exposure to climate-related crop losses.
Alison has an extensive shoe and scarf collections with contributions from all continents except Antarctica.
