GEOGLAM Rangelands and Pasture Productivity (RAPP) is a Group on Earth Observations (GEO) initiative that aims to provide the international community with the means to regularly monitor the status and productivity of world’s pastures and rangelands. On a routine basis, they assess their capacity to sustainably produce animal protein in real-time, at global, regional and national levels.

In 2015, the Global Food and Nutrition Security group joined this global effort, which brings together space agencies, associated institutional frameworks, in-situ networks, rangeland ecologists, and the pasture productivity modelling community.
