Our research attracts attention. Our publications regularly feature in the news or in blogs, are referred to in policy documents, and discussed on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
Altmetric provides a measure of the amount and reach of the attention a publication has received, which can be seen as an indicator of influence and impact. Altmetric produces an ‘Altmetric Attention Score’, which is a weighted count of all the mentions tracked by Altmetric. Our publications are frequently in the top 5% of all research outputs scored by Altmetric (see above image).
