At CSIRO Mineral Resources (CMR) Discovery Program, we evaluate Earth Observation Imagery (EOI) and develop workflows and products in context of the whole mine life cycle. For this, we are using our strong background in regolith landforms, mineral systems analysis, mineralogy, geochemistry and geophysics.

• We evaluate existing EOI systems for applications in the resources sector and provide advice about sensor requirements for the respective task at hand.
• We generate spectral reference libraries [link to webpage] for a wide range of geological systems and styles of mineral deposits
• We research visible and infrared spectral signatures of minerals
• We provide training in remote and proximal sensing applications to academia and industry
• We collaborate with Geological Surveys, industry and universities
• We conduct specialised 1 on 1 projects with clients from across the globe
