Introducing our Educator on Board – Lloyd Godson

I am a 7-10 Science and Marine and Aquaculture Technology teacher at Hastings Secondary College Westport Campus in Port Macquarie, New South Wales.
I have spent a total of one month living underwater, propelled myself through the Greek islands in a human-powered submarine and I hold the Guinness World Records for the most electricity generated by pedaling underwater. It is my passion for marine research, exploration and adventure that inspired me to apply for the Educator on Board program.
I am most looking forward to learning about all of the different possible pathways to working on a research vessel like the RV Investigator.
