Integrated Spatial Prioritisation Tool

December 8th, 2020

The Integrated Spatial Prioritisation (ISP) tool identifies the optimal complementary set of management actions that secure species from extinction.

Worldwide, threatened species lists grow at an unprecedented rate and current conservation efforts are inadequate to halt the biodiversity extinction crisis. The Integrated Spatial Prioritisation (ISP) tool  overcomes previous technical constraints on planning for the size and complexity of the conservation challenges we now face, amplifying the efficiency of conservation management.

Together with the Saving Our Species program (DPIE, NSW), we are applying the ISP to protect 500 listed species and 200 threatened ecological communities over the entire state of NSW.
