The Geotek MSCL records P-wave velocity, gamma density, magnetic susceptibility, resistivity, Munsell colour imaging, x-ray florescence, colour spectrophotometry and natural gamma spectrometry.
  • The Geotek MSCL (multi scale core logger) records P-wave velocity, gamma density, magnetic susceptibility, resistivity, Munsell colour imaging, x-ray florescence, colour spectrophotometry and natural gamma spectrometry.
  • It is presently the only automated and commercially available scanner that covers this amount of data collection with multiple sensors.
  • It scans at an average rate of 7m per day, depending on which sensors are selected, at a resolution of 1mm.
