How Will My Privacy Be Protected?
Your personal information is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act). CSIRO will handle your information in accordance with this Act and the National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007, updated 2018), or as otherwise required by law.
Your personal information, including your name, email address and organisation is being collected for the purposes of facilitating this sharing of restricted images and understanding how these images are being accessed and used to better this process.
CSIRO does not intend to use any personal information you provide for the purposes of obtaining access to these images for any other purpose and does not intend to disclose any personal information you provide to any third party. However, your personal information may be used or disclosed where doing so is authorised or required by the Privacy Act, other legislation, or a court.
There are no consequences for you if you choose not to provide the information that has been requested, however, it may mean that you cannot be granted access to these images.
