User Meeting 2012

User Meeting 2012

Annual get together for C3 users

30 March 2012

The C3 annual user meeting is an opportunity for everyone involved in C3 (users and operators) to get together and discuss how C3 can best serve the community.  The format is quite informal, with a couple of mini-talks (think of them as led discussions) and lots of opportunity for feedback.  This year we will be focussing on some of the ways that C3 can work with our membrane protein community.

There will be a couple more general talks as well, one on what services we have in C3 (and how best to chose which ones are appropriate), and one on some of the new features of C3.

  • David Aragao (Australian Synchrotron) – Lipidic cubic phase: more than you wanted to know in 10 minutes
  • Adeline Robin (WEHI) – Mi-celles, your-cells we all yell for bicelles
  • Shane Seabrook (CSIRO) – How to spend $1000
  • Janet Newman (CSIRO) – Something old, something new, nothing borrowed, nothing blue.

There will be a mystery prize for the user who has the best suggestions for using or improving C3.

There is no charge for this event.

C3 would like to thank AXT  (Australian X-Ray Tubes) for sponsoring this event.
