International R&D collaboration
International cooperation is central to Australia’s efforts to diversify critical minerals supply chains. The Hub’s mission is to promote technical cooperation and research collaboration with Australia’s strategic partners. The Hub also provides technical expertise and advice to strengthen Australia’s international engagement on critical minerals.
The objectives of the Hub’s international program are to:
- Strengthen capacity to lead and coordinate international R&D engagement
- Build the knowledge base to inform future decision making
- Build skills and capability needed to support international supply chains
- Leverage technical expertise to strengthen policy engagement and promote foreign investment
- Progress international R&D collaboration with strategic partners.
The Hub received a $2.5m grant to progress international R&D collaboration.
