Population Growth in Campbelltown

Our project is helping the people who are struggling with money and keeping their house because of COVID-19. This project is about helping people on the streets, who can’t afford to pay their rent. It is a sustainable community refuge. It can help them with getting back on their feet, helping them with food, and they can also learn new skills living in the “house”. We engineered and designed our house into a community homeless shelter but we made it more than a homeless shelter. We put together this house because it can help the homeless people until they get back on their feet. This house is like a transitional house which also incorporates sustainable living and skill building that the people can take away as they become more independent.

What makes our project beneficial is that we gave out ideas for a large “house” and made it as sustainable as possible. Using an eco-friendly garden where we don’t use harsh chemicals for the produce to grow. This also benefits the community who live there as they can learn, such as gardening and new skills; especially the youth who live in the “house”. For the people who need to earn more, we have a return and earn system inside the house.
