Biodiversity – Sarah Redfern High School

This project involved creation of a Koala Management Expert Team to monitor health and population of the koala and its habitat to ensure Campbelltown koalas are chlamydia disease free by preventing contamination or crossover from other koalas outside of Campbelltown. The most difficult task we encountered was the strategies in which we could come up with in order to properly and sustainably maintain and protect the Campbelltown koalas. The idea itself was innovative but the technicalities concerning the whole process was an obstacle we had to really think about in order to overcome it.

The project has definitely expanded our perspective on different environmental issues and contributing factors to said issues. The project was opportunistic in the sense that it explores all different options we can have when exploring careers and enlightened us of a variety of pathways we could go down in futuristic circumstances. It is also important we keep up to date with any sort of technological advancements and always seek to find solutions.
