Air Quality in Camden

Our project was based around the goal to improve air quality in Australia, specifically the air quality in the Macarthur area. Our solution to this problem was to use nature to our advantage by planting trees to filter out our carbon emissions. Through our research we uncovered the shocking statistic that over 46% of the total trees on our planet have been cut down. To fix the issue of air pollution we need to fix the damage that has been caused by previous generations and plant more trees.

During our project, one major challenge that we faced was that we couldn’t create a physical prototype of our project due to time restrictions and limited resources. This affected us because we couldn’t ensure that our project would be successful in the long term. This also made an impact on our planning and creation of our system as we were not able to physically test and evaluate the product. To overcome these challenges we used research on the local environment that would educate us to know the most realistic outcome and to also help us with the information we learnt.
