Food supply chain resilience

Global and local supply chains move essential products from producers to consumers around the world, linking distant communities to economic hubs and back. These chains are increasingly exposed to a range of disruptions, some localised, such as extreme weather events, others more wide-ranging, such as the impact of COVID-19. CSIRO provides evidence and insight to equip managers with the tools to build resilience in supply chains, through a suite of integrated metrics aimed at understanding structural resilience, criticality and network reliability, delivered through the Value Chain Analytics Platform.
