The physics and biogeochemistry of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and Huon estuary in south-east Tasmania were studied to assist industry and state regulators in managing the expanding salon aquaculture industry in the region. Phase I and II of these projects were conducted within the Aquafin CRC (https://coastalresearch.csiro.au/?q=node/172) Environment sub-program; an overview of which is found in:
