Participants are given tokens every time they complete a survey. Every eligible individual who completes an Anchor survey receives 20 tokens, while a monthly Pulse survey earns four tokens. Participants allocate their tokens to a community group of their choosing who can then cash these in – 1000 tokens are worth $500. Alternatively, the community group can cash in tokens pro rata after 6 months if they haven’t yet reached 1000 tokens. For example, 500 tokens would be equal to $250.
Groups or organisations are nominated to join the rewards scheme by members of the community. They must be not-for-profit groups operating in communities neighbouring BHP’s operations, and may be school P&Cs, charities, sports clubs or other organisations.
Full eligibility criteria are given in the Terms & Conditions.
There is no limit to the number of credits any one community group can accrue. The challenge for community groups is to get your networks motivated to complete surveys to trigger rewards – CSIRO can provide community groups with material to help do this.
Be rewarded for your participation with community benefits. It’s not too late for your group to benefit.
