Australia organises funding event for Vietnamese AI start-ups
As part of #Aus4Innovation‘s initiative to promote artificial intelligence (AI) in Vietnam as a way to cope with the pandemic and enhance economic resilience, the AI Accelerator Challenge 2021 aimed to find, incubate and develop applications of AI in diverse fields.
A virtual Demo Day was successfully held showcasing the five most outstanding start-ups in the challenge. The five start-ups had the opportunity to present their proposals to a large community of investors, partners and the start-up community to raise capital and seek cooperation opportunities.
Previously, these five start-ups had been through several rounds of selection from an initial 111 applications. They also underwent a customised boot camp for 16 weeks to foster knowledge and experience in business operations, perfect their business models and improve their presentation skills to potential investors and customers.
