Our facilities

In Brisbane we are based at the Dutton Park, EcoSiences Precinct. At this site we have access to great laboratory facilities, glasshouse space, controlled temperature rooms with custom light facilities, and easy access to field sites in Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

In Canberra we are based at the Black Mountain Laboratories. This site has glasshouses, controlled temperature rooms and cabinets as well as laboratory space shared with other research teams (such as the biotic threats team). We are across the road from the Australian National University, and a little over an hours drive from the newly created Boorowa Agricultural Research Station.

Near Narrabri we worked for many years with the Myall Vale crew based at the Australian Cotton Research Institute (ACRI) Myall Vale. The station has the capacity to run small plot field trials on cotton at a diversity of scales. We can manipulate both biotic and abiotic factors that might be relevant to pests and natural enemies.
