Independent review report for agvet chemicals in Australia is published

The Independent review of the pesticides and veterinary medicines regulatory system in Australia report is complete.

In late 2019 an independent panel of experts were tasked with comprehensively reviewing the regulatory framework for agvet chemicals in Australia. The panel has now released its final report, which was provided to the Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management, the Hon. David Littleproud MP, for consideration in May 2021.

The final report has now been published and is available on the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment’s Have your say web page.
